Brad Pitt is an innovative musician whose unique blend of folk, rock and bluegrass has captivated audiences across the country. Drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Jerry Garcia, John Prine, John Hartford,  Doc Watson and Billy Strings, Brad has carved out a distinctive sound that resonates with both traditionalists and modern music lovers alike.


With a deep passion for storytelling and musicianship, Brad's work reflects the rich tapestry of American roots music. His acoustic performances are known for their intricate guitar work, and an uncanny ability to take listeners on an emotional Journey. Whether he's strumming an acoustic guitar under the stars or performing in a bustling venue, Brad's stage presence leaves a lasting impression.


Among his notable accomplishments, Brad has performed in several successful projects that showcase his versatility as a musician. As a member of the Gonzo Cowboys for over 30 years, Brad demonstrated his passion for bluegrass, singer/songwriter and Grateful Dead music, layering lead guitar over a collection of classics. Currently, he is engaged in multiple exciting endeavors, including the “YTRAP String Band” with remaining members of The Gonzo Cowboys and musicians from Charles Darwin and the Knuckle Draggers. In keeping with the traditions of the Cowboys, this band plays an eclectic mixture of folk, bluegrass and singer/songwriter classics. As a founding member of “Wake Zone”, Brad revisits timeless rock classics with a refreshing acoustic twist. "Rock Salt & Grass", a project co-founded with John Schneider as a duo,  fuses acoustic rock, blues and bluegrass, inviting audiences to experience the joy of upbeat rhythms and masterful musicianship. This project highlights his adaptability and commitment to infusing diverse musical influences into his work, appealing to a wide range of fans.


In a further exploration of musical styles, Pitt has also performed with the "Coastal Steel Band," which brings a vibrant Caribbean flair to rock music, and regularly participates in the Annapolis Bluegrass Jam, allowing him to collaborate with local musicians and has resulted in numerous guest appearances with local bands in the greater Annapolis Area. 


As he continues to evolve as an artist, Brad Pitt remains dedicated to his craft, consistently pushing boundaries while honoring the traditions that inspire him. Whether in a cozy café or a large festival stage, Pitt's mission is simple: to create a shared experience that celebrates the beauty of sound and connection. John Schneider has been performing for clubs, private parties, benefits, from Maryland to Florida and beyond. As a soloist, Winery’s and Breweries, water front venue’s are popular places to catch a show. With several band projects under his belt, classic rock, and blues fill the sound scape with The Joint Venture Band. Trop Rock music fills the summers with The Coastal Steel Band. Performing Original and warm weather favorites. A highly sought after tiki bar soloist and band leader.

John’s style of songwriting flows freely, easy feeling, and real. Influence from the Beatles pop harmonies, with the ability to get to the point. Drawing from a rich folk music background, ( Dylan, Croce, Lightfoot, J Denver) is evident. With a unique blend of Rock, Folk and Blues. Weaving tropical influences like Buffett and Marley,

“John’s voice and music will take you to your paradise, anywhere that might be.” From the feel good Trop Rock 2012 release of “Sand Beneath my Feet”, 2015 hit ballad “ Sail me to the Moon”, 2018 CD Private Island, and his recent 2022 single releases "A Place To Go" and "Warmer Days" - his warm vocals and sense of harmony can lift you up, and set you on a voyage to somewhere south. His music is now best described as Rock and roll, blues with a ever so light country feel.

John is an accomplished bassist. With over 40 years of performing experience. Influenced by (Jaco Pastorious, James Jamerson, Stanley Clark). As a guitarist, the acoustic guitar is his first choice. he has a classic finger style and flat picking, to accompany songwriting and solo performance. He is driven by the desire to keep alive the great folk guitarist rhythm and chord arrangements with a percussive drive and melodic finger style hooks.
